A Visit from Iraq’s University of Hilla to Istanbul Gelisim University!

In line with its vision of internationalization, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) continues to strengthen its ties with higher education institutions abroad. As part of this effort, the President of Iraq’s University of Hilla, Dr. Aqeel Al-Saadi, along with his delegation, visited Istanbul Gelisim University. During the meetings, significant steps were taken to enhance academic cooperation between the two universities.

The documentary "Female Wonder", which was prepared with the support of Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts and aims to make the labor and sustainable entrepreneurship of women in agricultural production visible, was shortlisted for the Cosmetics Short Film Competition.

At the AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance) General Assembly held in Bonn, Germany, IGU Quality Coordinator Prof. Hasan Hakan Bozkurt participated on behalf of Istanbul Gelisim University.

With the General Assembly Decision of the Council of Higher Education dated 03.07.2025, four new associate degree programs approved for student admission as of the 2025-2026 academic year once again reveal the vision of the university in vocational education.

According to experts, conditions such as heat stroke, dehydration and change in drug effects can lead to vital consequences in heart, diabetes, COPD, kidney and hypertension patients.
