The opening speeches of the summit were carried out by the Dean of Istanbul Gelisim University
Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Prof. Kenan Aydın and
Psychology Department Head Asst.Prof. Bülent Tansel. At the opening, attention was drawn to the importance of such activities in terms of understanding and improving the psychological processes of individuals.

Within the scope of the event, many significant speakers presented different approaches to separation and attachment processes:
Clinical Psychologist Dr. Onur Erken discussed the effects of early experiences on romantic relationships in his speech titled "In the Shadow of Childhood Experiences: Love, Attachment and Separation".
Clinical Psychologist Şiyar Parlak examined the psychological effects of attachment styles on individuals in depth with his presentation "Anxious Attachment".
Clinical Psychologist Dr. Nurhan Naz discussed the process of individuation and the role of separation in this process in her presentation titled "Growing with Separation: The Second Individualization Concept of Blos".
Dr. Volkan Demir, in his speech "Mother Image and Creative Process: The Healing Effect of Art Therapy", associated the effects of art therapy on emotional healing with creative processes.
Clinical Psychologist Dr. Enes Kaya focused on the final and inevitable dimensions of the concept of separation with his presentation titled "Irreversible Separations".
The summit, which was held with the participation of many students and experts interested in the field of psychology, offered participants the opportunity to evaluate the separation and attachment processes from different perspectives.
The event increased the psychological awareness of the participants by once again revealing the significance of addressing a universal emotion such as separation with its individual and social aspects.
