Sustainability Declarations by High School Students

One of the special projects of this year’s festival will be the joint initiative between İstanbul Gelişim University and Büyükçekmece Anatolian High School.

Approximately 250 high school students will come together in 14 separate classes over two days to discuss Sustainable Development Goal 17: “Partnerships for the Goals.”

The students will present their proposed solutions and awareness-raising outcomes on stage with their own declarations during the festival’s gala day. This project, carried out in cooperation with Büyükçekmece Anatolian High School, aims—just as it did last year—to strengthen youth participation focused on sustainability.
