In the event, the psychological, neurological and developmental dimensions of sleep and dream were discussed through sub-fields such as neuropsychology, dynamic psychology, and child psychology. The sessions, which were shaped by the contributions of academicians and professionals who are experts in their fields, made a significant contribution to the academic and professional development of students.
"Projects are from you, application is from us"
Abdülkadir Gayretli, the Chairman of the IGU Board of Trustees, emphasized the importance of the activity in his opening speech and emphasized that students will be effective individuals in the academic or social field after graduation. Gayretli summarized the support given to students as follows:
“We want to give our students not only academic knowledge, but also a global vision. We cover the language course expenses of our students and academicians who are successful in YDS or YÖKDİL exams. We provide flight ticket support to our students who want to study abroad, and we cover the expenses of those who are financially inadequate. In addition, we support productivity with the understanding of ‘Projects are from you, application is from us’. We also bear all the costs of our students who receive master's degree admission from the top 20 universities in the world ranking. "

Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Dean Prof. Kenan Aydın drew attention to the importance of psychology today and stated that marketing, which is its own field, is also directly related to psychology:
“Coming together in a field such as psychology, which has a strong scientific and human aspect, is a valuable step towards understanding the spirit of the age. Global issues such as digitalization, loneliness and identity searches reveal the vital role of psychological resilience. This activity is not only an academic sharing, but also an effort to raise awareness at the social level."

Head of Psychology Department Asst. Prof. Bulent Tansel emphasized the importance of raising students not only as academic but also as individuals with ethical, national and spiritual values:
“Our aim is to ensure that our students graduate by learning the professional competencies in the finest detail. You are very valuable to us. Make the most of these four years to improve yourself.”
Vice President of Psychology Department Asst. Prof. Selcen Yetkin Özden, on the other had, pointed out the importance of this year's theme in her speech:
“The subject of dreams and sleep has not received the academic attention it deserves for a long time. We address this topic from the perspectives of neuroscience, psychoanalysis, psychodynamic approach, and psychodrama. I hope these two days will be both nutritious and intriguing for all of us.”
The event was open to external participants as well as Gelisim University students. Psychology Days, which can be attended by anyone interested in psychology, offered an interactive discussion and learning environment that facilitated access to scientific knowledge.
