Traces of Artificial Intelligence in Television Journalism
The event started with the opening speeches of the university administrators and the presentation of Prof. Yasemin Giritli İnceoğlu. An AI robot used on stage added symbolic meaning to the opening. On the first day of the festival, ATV Main News Host Cem Teaches and NTV Main News Host Seda Öğretir shared their views on the transformation of the media world with their presentations titled "Artificial Intelligence in Communication: A New Era or a Temporary Trend?" Experts from different disciplines evaluated the sectoral effects of new technologies in the panel titled "Artificial Intelligence and Communication: Who Shapes the Future?". The day was completed with a workshop on artificial intelligence applications in television journalism.

The New Tool of Productivity: Artificial Intelligence
The second day of the festival started with the "Artificial Intelligence in Advertising" themed map section exhibition organized by the Department of Public Relations and Advertising. The exhibition, which was prepared under the consultancy of Sinem Eyice Başev, presented creative predictions about the future of advertising. Then Mehmet Ali Barışkan's workshop "Learn the Communication of the Future Today!" offered an interactive learning environment to the participants. At the end of the day, Harun Kilci discussed the transformation of technology on the individual in his interview discussing the relationship between artificial intelligence and individual development.
In the program carried out simultaneously by the New Media and Communication Department, Ali İlhan's "Artificial Intelligence in Photography, Video and Content Production" workshop drew attention. In the afternoon, the panel "Artificial Intelligence on Broadcast: Digital Transformation of TV Programming", which was attended by İsmail Kadercan, Fırat Çetin and Ceren Ala from the NTV Art Services team as speakers, attracted great attention. At the end of the day, the effects of artificial intelligence in acting practice were discussed in the workshop organized by actors Hakan Karsak and Veda Yurtsever.

The 3rd Applied Communication Festival stood out as a concrete example of Istanbul Gelisim University's vision of educating students in accordance with the spirit of the age.
