Sharing his experiences related to his career, Eracun also addressed the current problems encountered in the sector and offered guiding suggestions to the students. The activity gave students a practical, not just theoretical, perspective.

Gastroguide is on the agenda

In the interviews held after the event, the concept of "gastroguidance", which will bring together tourism guidance and gastronomy, was discussed. Selçuk Eracun, Secretary General of Istanbul Gelisim University and Coordinator of Gastronomy Departments Assoc.  Prof. Serdar Egeli and Asst. Eracun and Egeli focused on how the projects carried out in the field of gastronomy can intersect with the discipline of guidance. It was stated that these meetings constitute an important basis for sustainable cooperation between the university and professional chambers.
