The placement results for the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) have been announced. As part of the Erasmus+ program, Dr. Joerg Baudner from the University of Vechta visited Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) as a guest lecturer and delivered a significant seminar organized by the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (FEASS) on September 30, 2025. "The Sound," a short animated film directed by Ahmet Bikiç, a lecturer at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Visual Communication Design, and written by Burcu Çekiç, Assistant Coordinator of the Corporate Communications Office, is achieving significant international success. Entirely created using artificial intelligence tools, the film will be screened at the Secondigliano Film Festival, which will take place in Naples, Italy, from October 22 to 24, 2025.

The TECH-SAT Micro Satellite Team, composed of students from Istanbul Gelişim University and guided by their advisor Lecturer İzzet Yavuz from Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School, has achieved another significant milestone in the field of space and satellite technologies. Participating in the 3rd Hangar Campus Entrepreneurship Competition organized by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), the team competed with their project titled “Micro Satellite Communication System for Disasters and Emergency Situations” and successfully advanced to the finals, ranking among the top 9 out of 63 competing teams.
