Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) has recorded an important achievement by broadening its range of activity under the Erasmus+ program. The project titled "SHAPE: Youth Shaping Their Future through Local Dialogue on Skills" has been awarded funding by the Turkish National Agency under Erasmus+ KA-154 Youth Participation. With the project, IGU will serve as a coordinating institution under KA-154 for the first time.

Over the four-day program, teachers received theoretical and applied training in many areas, from education technologies and AI applications to measurement and evaluation and project development. The Academic Workshops, organized to support the professional development of Gökkuşağı Schools teachers and build their knowledge and practical skills for the new school year, were held at Istanbul Gelisim University. Teachers from the Istanbul campuses attended in person, while those from campuses outside Istanbul joined online. In the interactive and practice-focused workshops, teachers working at different campuses had the chance to share their experience, develop joint work, and produce new education projects.
Istanbul Gelisim University students recorded an important achievement at TEKNOFEST 2026 with their innovative work in artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems. Competing in the "Multi-Agent Intelligent Support System for Public Document and Official Correspondence Processes" category of the Artificial Intelligence Language Agents Competition, the KUTUP AI and BİLTEK teams completed the evaluation stages successfully and earned a place in the final. In the competition, which aims to advance the use of artificial intelligence in public services and the development of intelligent systems, students are working to build innovative and workable AI solutions to real-world problems.
